It’s been a busy day:
Work.
Christmas decorating.
Teaching dance.
Going to the home opener for BYU.
Oh, and Kailynn had a baby.
And….
Kourtney got engaged.
Yeah, I didn’t really do anything worth mentioning.
The real news came from my beautiful sisters.
This morning Kailynn gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; Addison Leilani Cooper.
Mom and daughter are both healthy and doing fine.
This evening Kourtney became officially engaged to Jake Millard.
“two, saith he, shall be one flesh…” (1 Corinthians 6:16)
This scripture has a variety of applications.
Man… what a day!
I’m now officially an uncle and I’m going to have a new brother-in-law!
An uncle?
Ideal because I get to be cool, without any discipline!
A brother-in-law?
Already doing it and loving it.
Congratulations to both of my wonderful sisters. I love you both and am grateful for the new additions to our family!

What a totally exciting time for the whole family!! Biggest congratulations to Kailynn and Dallas – they are going to be awesome parents. And very best wishes to Kourtney (and of course Jake) on the engagement – she will be a beautiful bride. So happy for you and Leah – things seem to be going wonderfully. It has been a very full year for you all.
